The Campbellsport area has a wealth of amenities that creates a well rounded community that is full of fun things to do and organizations to join.
The Eisenbaum Trail is an 25 mile bike/walking trail that runs from Eden through West Bend. There are many local community parks and lakes to enjoy in the Northern Kettle Moraine area along with state parks, camp grounds, beaches, horse and hiking trails. Campbellsport has both the Columbus PARC and the Firemen’s Park and a large modern library for community memebers to enjoy.
There are also many service groups that are involved in the Campbellsport Area. Including the Campbellsport Athletic Association, 4-H Clubs, Campbellsport Area Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Area Jaycees, Volunteer Fire Departments, Boy and Girl Scouts, Sportsmen’s Clubs, and many outdoor activity clubs. There really is something for everyone!


There are many large and profitable businesses in the area and Fond du Lac County. Some of the top employers are: the Campbellsport School District, Baker Cheese, Drexel Building Supply, Tom’s Quality Millwork, Mercury Marine, Agnesian Healthcare, CD Smith Construction, Eden Stone and Weasler Engineering.


The Campbellsport School District has two PK-5 elementary schools (Campbellsport Elementary and Eden Elementary), one 6-8 middle school (Campbellsport Middle) and one 9-12 high school (Campbellsport High). From early childhood screening through high school graduation, the district offers a rigorous, growing curriculum base: assistance for gifted and talented, special education and English language learners while focusing on preparing our students for future opportunities. Campbellsport professional staff (over 120 FTE) are dedicated to the growth and success of all the district’s more than 1,400 diverse students.
In addition to academics, students have a myriad of extracurricular clubs and activities from which to choose, including dance, FBLA, FFA, FCS, pep band, show choir, dramatics, forensics, student council, art club, national honor society, trap team, and more. Campbellsport High School has an active Cougar Booster Club, whose parent volunteers have raised money for a multitude of school, programing and facility upgrades. Community organizations including the FFA Alumni award annual scholarships to graduates.

More than 60% of students are involved in a selected Academic-Performance activity. More than 75% of students become involved in an athletic team or activity.


Private schooling options are also available to area residents. St.Matthew’s School and Daycare in Campbellsport, Shepherd of the Hills School in Armstrong, and Waucousta Lutheran Grade School in Waucousta.
There are also many area colleges to choose from to further your education. Marian University in Fond du Lac, UW Fond du Lac in Fond du Lac, UW of Washington Co. in West Bend, Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac & West Bend.
